Mid America Science Museum
A pioneer in hands-on science learning, Mid-America Science Museum has been a resource for innovative STEM education since its opening in 1979. Mid-America Science Museum is located less than a mile from Hot Springs National Park. It is surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. A $7.8 million dollar grant courtesy of the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation recently helped to update its existing exhibits and added new state of the art exhibits such as the Arkansas Underfoot Gallery, Bob Wheeler Science Skywalk, the Oaklawn Foundation Digital Dome Theater and more. The newest permanent addition to Mid-America Science Museum is the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek.
